august 2023 - what Gods been up to

 Went away to Donegal with Janice.  What happened was.....

Spent first day talking about lack of love from Keith and an abundance of love from Ste messing with my head.  That night a bat came into the house. Or was already there and suddenly wanted out. So strange. We opened patio doors and waited for it to leave.  Next day Ste messages to say he is getting married in 24 hours.  I cry. Janice listens and understands.   Matt messages out of the blue with a song ( Jesus on the phoneline tell him what you need) followed by scripture from Gideon - mighty warrior, go in the strength you have.  Also a voice message telling me Im great and anointed.  Janice and I go out for the day. Sitting chatting she suddenly tells me Im like the gold in the kingutsi piece which holds broken things together.  I am precious and beautiful,  I hear God speaking this to me most profoundly,  I cry again.

Message Ste to wish him every blessing for his wedding and recognise that the bat episode was about getting him out of my head and back where he belongs.  Which is what has happened.

Get home to find a birthday card from Vivienne saying ' to the best human being I know'  There seems to be a theme here!

Keith comes to me and I invite him for a hug and a chat.  He gets into bed beside me. We kiss.  First time in 12/13 years.   Subsequently has been very keen to be physical

Went ice skating. Spent much of the time behind a young girl who had 'Good times are coming'  emblazoned on the back of her sweatshirt

Birthday message from Kenny and Caroline   Happy birthday to one of our favourite humans every invented and put into production

Something is going on.  Im waiting to watch what unfolds but past couple of days with K have been good.

  A while ago I had an interesting conversation with an American friend about the Queen. My friend said that she admired the woman, recognised the hard work and the committment and the sense of duty, but couldnt quite understand the whole inheritance thing. How can it be fair or right that by an accident of birth some random person gets to be a king or a queen? I tried to explain my understanding of this.   Airports are fascinating places. Ive spent quite a lot of time in them recently as Ive travelled back and forth visiting Mum. On a recent trip I watched as the plane I was due to fly in landed, discharged its passengers and prepared for take off. There are more people than you might think involved in this process. Two guys position the steps. Someone fixes the fuel pipe into its slot. Two guys unload and load luggage. Two guys position chocks under the wheels. Someone puts a rope round the wings to stop us walking under them. And then there's one special someone whose job it is to wave little red torches in the air so the pilot knows exactly when and where to stop.  As I was watching the well oiled Easyjet machine in action in the pouring rain it reminded me of all the unseen people in church, so necessary for the smooth running of the whole thing.
